The MSCS is a research-oriented degree that requires 28 credit hours of coursework and 4 credit hours of thesis. The MS can be counted towards the PhD in Computer Science. The MSCS program does not offer guaranteed funding. Students who are eligible for Teaching Assistant (TA) appointments are welcome to apply for available TA positions through the department.
